I dont have one on mine but I test drove 2 wrx's that had em (an 08 and an 09)... I like em but I find that after a short while it forces me to kind of rest my hand to the left close the seat belt. Its comfortable at first but kinda gets old... Its nice to switch up the position of your arm during a long drive.

To be short, I would use it if I had it; but i wouldn't pay $100 for it and put it in. If I came across it on a deal I would get it though...

have it love it get it, the stock wrx armrest is low, and if you have any drinks in your cupholder and like to rest your arm on the armrest while shifting then you want the extension, even more so if you have long arms hope this helps

I am considering it, I am pretty tall. I would like to see what its like before I buy it. Hopefully the dealer will get a car with it in there sometime soon.

most any premium would have it... Also dont just look at the wrx's.. The legacy also has the same the same arm rest... ( well close to the same. The latch is on the top on the legacy and the impreza its underneath) .. But it may help give you an idea...

I just picked up a used JDM armrest, and it looks awesome! Now I just have to figure out how to install it.

How does the JDM one compare to the standard one? I am looking to get one, but I will just one seperately be it JDM or standard. Let me know how the JDM one feels.

It's lame that you have to pay $100 for it but it's absolutely worth it IMO.
