Its so simple I would call it plug and play. Just run a harness from the cubbie hole light. It will work in an 08 wonderfully... how long till poohbear responds?? Im betting 3 minutes

Thank you very much. I'm good with wiring as long as there isn't any "wiring" involved! As in...plug it in and go. Hahahaha.

^ you can change the cubby but not the footwell without buying another kit..

Just put in my red kit this afternoon. Its subtle.. I dig it! Was pretty simple install too, I think the hardest part was getting to the cubby light wiring. Other than that it was all pretty much plug n play. I changed out my cubby led for a red one and put the blue one in the glove box. Def adds a neat touch to the cars nighttime interior look.

I used brake line to feed the wires... Kinda like you would with a coat hanger... But yeah worst part is definitely the feeding of the wiring

I popped the radio trim off, then unscrewed the vent splitter there.. pulled it out to gain access from the top. Once I did that it was much easier. I'll tell ya what though, without longer fingers and some dexterity your screwed.. lol.. I was in there fishin wires around with my fingertips.

looks great though def worth the 1/2 hour of messin about.

finally got a decent pic, this was with the dimmer all the way up so it would photo better. I usually leave it on the second click up from dimmest setting, when set that way its really subtle.. just a red glow.
