    Bolt Torque Setting....

    All,
I have an '06 WRX and just purchased a racing harness and am about to install in it but i just want to make sure the torque setting is correct before i loosen the bolts. I do not have a detailed owners manual which is why i am seeking help here. Does anyone know the correct torque setting for the bolts at the bottom of the seat belt which attach it to the car??
    Thanks,
    Matt

FYI I moved your thread to the Interior forum, hopefully you will get more info there.

They seem to be specifying 30 ft.lb. but look at it carefully and decide for yourself since this is safety equipment and I take no responsibility. You might still want to wait and see if someone with an '06 service manual posts up.

NP, but I'm still not sure if that is right.

BTW, you can see the forum category & heirarchy in the info near the top of the page. If you click on the forums button up there in the dark gray you can see the categories and their descriptions.
