    My DIY Grill Mod

Went to home depot today, picked up the gutter guard, some epoxy and some paint and spent all day fabricating a grill

Used a dremel to shave the old plastic and smooth the surface out, then painted it.

    Just got done tonight

    tell me what you think....

Looks great. I love to see when DIY mods come out looking good. Beats buying after market parts any day.

I like it! Would like to see some daytime pics too. Did you grab some garage stripping at Home Depot, so you could do the DIY lip mod too?

Sidenote: what's wrong with your hood?

No I didn't, but after you said that I am going to look into it. BTW the weird looking stuff on the hood is condensation.

here's some daytime pics, there are imperfections in this, but I tried my hardest to sand them down and hide them, standing in front of it though, you can't really notice the imperfections.

Do you guys think I should put the logo back on or no?

Looks good during the day too!

I like the DIY lip too, might be a fun inexpensive project to try out:

Ah, condensation. I don't know why it grabbed my attention.

    same here
I just bondo'ed a machine screw to the back of the badge so i can run it through the mesh and put a washer and nut on the other side. Kept me from having to mess with my grill too much
