    Window keeps falling down

My 2002 WRX's drivers window has begun to drop when the window is rolled down...

It opens normally for about three inches and then drops about two inches with a clunk, then it continues to roll down normally. I've torn it apart, but the mechanism is difficult to see behind the door panel when the drop occurs. Has anyone had similar issues? If so can you describe it (i know it's not easy to explain the door mechanism-the part names aren't as recognizable as downpipe or intercooler )

    Much thanks in advance!

    Matt
