    turbo timer

    i just put in my 05 sti a hks turbo timer on and everything work fine but i cant lock my car it is the stock factory alarm when it is counting down with the remote i have to wait to it turns off then i cn lock it but when it is running i cant lock it can someone help me plz thanks

    I don't know if there is a way to fix this problem with the factory alarm. I have an aftermarket alarm and what we did to fix this problem is we used relays to trick the car into thinking that it is off when the turbo timer is active. That way I can arm the alarm with the turbo timer running. To do the same thing with the factory alarm you would have to get a wiring diagram of the factory alarm so you could tap the correct wires to trick the car.
