VGA Touch Screen for an '09 WRX

Looking to put install a touchscreen into the dash of my '09 Subaru Impreza WRX Premium. Wondering if anyone 08-09 has done this, and what screens have been used. Is there an adapter kit for the dash? I know that you can get the nav package which has a 7"ish screen in it so I'm assuming there are screens that will fit.

I want to build and install an on board computer to the car which will serve as my sound system as well as have other functionality maybe tied into an AP, touchscreen pushbutton start. etc...

You might have the most luck getting a standard double-din sized screen, since you'd have easy access to the dash trims and won't have to do any fabricating. The stock HU is a little bit wider than double din, if you're into fabricated a trim or mounting kit.

I used this for filling the space between my Kenwood DNX-5120 (double din) and the silver trim piece. I think it looks very clean and factory smooth.

EDIT: sorry, this may not have been what you were looking for, I don't know if I understood the initial question right...
