    2008 STI aftermarket navigation

So i just bought a new STI and i'm looking into adding an aftermarket navigation. I've looked around but haven't seen much that supposedly will fit the car. Would it take much to modify the dash slightly to get a navi to fit? I'd like to get an in-dash. Something like the Pioneer AVIC-Z3

Any thoughts on whether the dealership would be able to install the factory navigation system since i didn't get the BBS/navi package?

You'll need a dash kit to put in a double din navi unit like the avic-z3. I used one by Scosche, and it looks really nice.

I'd have a good audio shop install the head unit for you, they have more experience doing so and will probably do a better job.

I installed my own head unit, and I am bias towards the Kenwood units, as I believe they are the best bang for the buck. They utilize Garmin technology, so it's basically the same interface, and garmin is considered one of the best in GPS navigation.

awesome thanks. I kind of figured somebody made something but all the cars i've had in the past i've been able to just swap out the stock one for a new one.
