Hi,
I am new to this forum and im seeking some help. My car was broken into and the aftermarket stereo was ripped out.
The air blower does not work any more when i turn on the heater/aircond. I've checked all the fuses and they are intacted;
I don't know what if there's an electrical module to control the blower is missing. Does anyone has an image of the back-end of their stereo unit that i can see so i can get part to replace it.
Please help, very appreciated.

It's hard to say what could have happened... so many wires and contacts back there.
I generally don't recommend this, but you may want to just take that to the dealer and have them troubleshoot it.

what year is the car? TR? WRX? STi? did they remove the trim around the radio to get it out out? did you check that the two harnesses o the back of the AC controls are connected as well as the temp sensor hose? again this may not be true depnding on the year and model. but i'm guessing you checked something that obvious.

it's WRX 2001-2002 bug eye model.
I checked the 2 plugs behind the silver fascia they are still ok, the light and everything still on.
Checked the BLOWER's fuses = OK
May be if i can locate the BLOWER and check if there's power when i switched the fan knob on. then diagnose it from there.
Does anyone know how to get to the BLOWER?
Hi
After some research, i've found this on the net:
Under the passenger side dash, behind the glovebox. Remove the glovebox to allow full access to the area, you'll see the fan housing and duct. There are two electrical connectors underneath, the one on the right is for the fan itself and the one to the left is the resistor. Unplug the resistor and take the screws out that hold it in, you can then remove it for testing/replacement.
I'll let you know if i can get it fixed. and please send through any suggestions that may be helpful.
thank you.
