removal of the back seats

hey all i am thinking of removing the back seats of my wrx not for performance gain but for space. (I cant fit my hockey bag in the trunk) so if i remove the back seats it would fit. now my question is how can i liven it up so it doesnt look so bad any suggestion would be appreciated.

carpet the metal over.. Preferably match the floor carpet

I'd prolly lay a little dynamat or equivalent down, as the interior will be a good bit louder inside.
