    DEFI Boost gauge install help

Hi i have an 03 wrx and am trying to work out my defi blue racer boost gauge. The problem i am getting is when i turn my headlights on; the gauge turns off completely. When the car lights are off, they work in full force and works perfectly. Does anyone know why i might be experiencing this?

    Thanks

sounds like you mismatched your wiring..... like you hooked up your gauge power AND illumination, to only the illumination wire behind the dash. Did you?

where did you tap the wires into?

the easiest place to tap wires for gauge is the clock-- pop off the clock hood and on the back side of the clock where the wires go in each wire is labelled on the back of the clock housing-- constant 12v, switched and illum. You can usually just push the gauge wires into the connector and not have to cut or strip anything.

If you wire the gauges to the parking light/headlight switch, the polarity is reversed (IIRC) and its a huge headache--

use the clock, thank me later. The WRX has to be one of the easiest cars to wire gauges into.
