    Ipod Hook up ????

I have a 2008 Imprezza 5 door. The Ipod works great when using with the AUX hook up. When I try to use the actual Ipod connector it does not work. Does anyone know how or what to do?

So you do have the ipod adapter kit installed right?

The ipod runs off the SAT setting on your radio (which is why if you have the NAVI package you can't get the pod adapter) Once the ipod is connected press the SAT button and wait a minute or so. If it still doesn't work, you may have to pull the head unit out to make sure it's connected.

Once it is up and working it kind of a PITA to understand what all the buttons on the stereo do since you are operating the ipod from the stereo and not from the ipod itself.
