Custom Gauge Pod + Repainting Center

Hey guys,

i am in the mist of making a little gauge pod for my defi boost gauge. i am using the driver side center air vent and hopefully it will come out pretty good. I have a couple questions though. I want to paint all the silver plastic pieces a flat black.

What kind of paint should I use? also how would i go about the stereo? should i just skip the stereo and a/c controls.

I searched and couldnt find any pics of a flat black center, so does anyone have one?

I actually do have a flat black center section. I have an 06, I can clean it up and post a pic or two tomorrow.
