Stock Boost Gauge

I bought an '07 sti about a month before I deployed overseas. I miss driving it, but I don't miss the white light from the stock turbo boost gauge. What are my options? My preference is to do some sort of diy fix that allows me to keep the stock gauge, but I'm open to other ideas. Thanks for any suggestions.

you could sell your boost gauge to me and buy an aftermarket one.

why don't you just buy an aftermarket one? i'm not that interested in getting anything aftermarket at this point, mostly just in finding some basic mods to fit my car without going into anything too intense. I guess since it's so new i just don't want to make any drastic changes yet.

anyway, i know you can change the backlighting on your actual cluster but i doubt you'd be able to do anything to the stock boost gauge.. i dont think its even possible to open it up and change the film color or anything.

no attitude, it was a serious question. i was wondering why he didn't want an aftermarket one, since that seems to be much more popular on this form than the stock option.

If i were to get an aftermarket gauge, could i use the hook up that is already there for the stock one?

the reason i don't want an aftermarket one is because its too much contrast the stock goes with the rest of the car - i like the stockish look.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, the light in it is white, which kind of spoils the overall lighting. This is why I'm looking for a fix.

you wouldnt happen to know anyone who has done this or knows how to do this because i have a wrb 07 wrx and i am going with a blue and red theme but the green-lit clusters hinder my theme
