07' Red STI cluster into a 07' WRX???

I am going to switch my cluster, my clock.. anything that is green to the STI red... what am I getting my self into?? Any advice would help.. thanks.

only the cluster is red.
You're gonna have to splice and file some prongs. The plugs don't exactly match.
your temp. guage won't work and your DCCD light will always be on.
Plus it won't beep when you redline.

our cars beep when they redline? i havnt heard it and iv hit about 7.5k

The STi cluster has a shift light that also makes a beeping noise when you either redline or have to shift.

When you put a STi cluster into the WRX, it still flashes the light, but the beep won't function.

What about just changing the color of the LEDs? IE . the window modules, ect

Ya, that's relatively simple.
A lot of people do the cluster and HVAC. there's a ton of writeups all over the internet on these.
I'm actually gonna send my cluster in to Lightwerkz to have them do it blue, cause I don't have th patience of trust myself with my cluster.
I'm gonna do all the other lights myself though.
