Just got 08 WRX and Looking at short throw options

Well I'm finally getting rid of my '02 RSX Type-S and picking up my WRX thursday. I took advtange of an awesome lease deal... 1k down 230 a month. Nice.

Anyway, they want 500 bucks for a short throw at the dealership, but my gut told me that wasn't a great idea. I'm a n00b at installing but I've heard this isn't a hard one to do. Anyone have reccomendations for me? I live in Las Vegas.

    Thanks,

    Derek

Im curious about your lease as I just got a WRX too.

Did you get a wrx or impreza, that is pretty low for a new wrx.

What was the final sale price? I got an 08 for 22,300 a month ago, with 12k miles a year and 270 a month.

How many miles per year was yours?

Thats a great deal for a wrx. I got mine for 2k down, 270 a month for 12k miles a year.
Mine was priced out at 28,600 though, and the fact that Michigan's residual value is terrible.

As for the shifter, it shouldn't be too hard to install as they come with directions and should be a nice addition.

    Price

Well it was the "Lease Special" of the month I guess. I used to sell cars and I believe the term is "dealer cash". This is where Subaru (Big Subaru) supports sales at the dealership level by contributing a little of their money to each sale. Up until last monday details were available on Subaru.com
