I just got my cobb short throw shifter and i took my stock one out and i cant get the cobb one in the socket for anything. Any suggestions. Thanks. I need my car for tomorrow lol.

what do you mean you cant get it into socket? like.. you cant get out of neutral?

No i took out my stock shifter and went to install my new cobb one and i cant get the little ball at the bottom of it to go into the socket.

Make sure you apply some grease. the one from the stock shifter ball works fine. Then you would need to familiarize yourself with a tool called a rubber malet. It will fix your problem.
oh, and BTW, I installed my short shifter in about 5 minutes. easy peezy
