    A few miles

I had the CB in my glove compartment, with the antenna wire running along the passenger doors, and out the back door (right at the base of the window)

The antenna came from RadioShack ($20 or so) - it has a magnet on the bottom

I borrowed an old CB radio from my uncle that was probably 20 years old. Only thing I bought was the antenna.

Pioneer P-9800BT, Bluetooth stereo head unit.

With a windows based phone with bluetooth, I can connect to my stereo wirelessly, talk through a mic I mounted on my steering column, and hear through my speakers.

I can also play mp3s from my cell phone, wirelessly through my car stereo.

    It's pretty cool.
