paint damaged

hi was wondering if any one can help me with this. oil from a car freshner was spilt down the unit that houses the unit for cd player gear stick and ashtray in my car. when it was rubbed off it took the paint with it, got a quote of 300 euro to fix it i assume this is cause im a woman, cause i know it shouldn't cost this much. its a 2007 impreza any one know how i can fix this myself or cheaper

well... i don't really know what 300 euro equals in dollars... also don't know if they were quoting repainting it or doing an OEM replacement... in which case it might not be that high... casue factory jobs are expensive... if it's just the gray painted part... rip it out and paint it yourself...

i think 300 euros a lot of money. seems like it would be the same or less to just replace that interior panel. try somewhere like subarugenuineparts.com or the almighty ebay
