    2008 WRX gauges

The new 2008 WRX has few factory gauges and so far no OEM turbo boost gauge option. Stockers have red lighting. The car needs boost, voltmeter and oil pressure or temp gauges added. The pillar post has a side air bag badge on it and I'm wondering if it means that the pillar post cannot be used as a gauge pod. The center dash top is an option for a gauge pod but it would be tight. Any ideas?

    2008 Wrx 5d

2008 WRX has and all new gauge cluster set up and the Auto meter cluster trim will not fit. Great idea but not for the new 08's.

Clock pod or a subi gal pod would work.

I like that little pod. I'm not a big fan of the giant A pillar pods. I like the 3-pod clock pod cause it's not too obtrusive too.

look for ninefourteener's thread (i think that's the name). He's got a pretty impressive array of pods that might give you some good ideas. ... if anything it's nice gawking at his sexy ride.

    edit:

    found it.

    Ninfourteener's Progress Thread + Pics

guy's got one sweet ride, and like 50000 different gauges in his car.

    2008 Gauge Pods

I ordered a Perrin Dual Gauge Pod on monday. It comes in tomorrow and will be placed on the sterring collumn. It's for my WideBand and Boost.

right now i have my boost gauge under the stereo next to the cigarette lighter. I modified a single A pillar gauge pod from autozone.

that sounds cool man. Pics pics pics when they're in!

I'm thinking of running oil pressure, clock, and voltage in the center dash pod and getting one of them small pods like naughty posted earlier for boost.

And LED lighting all throughout the car of course. :-) thinking of making it strobe to the drum beat of the stereo?

2008 WRX w/ Perrin Gauge Pod

ok i took a bunch of pictures with my phone. Only two of them came out decent. Right now it is not mounted yet, still waiting on the TruBoost to get here. JSC Speed has the Perrin Pod for $117.46 and StripperMotorsports.com has the gauges for $255 and $260 shipped.

are you people happy now? lol
    questions?
