    i spilled gas on my seat WTF

    whats the best way to get the smell of gas outta my rear seats because i went to go fill my 1galleon tank for my snow blower and it tipped ....

    yes im a duffus.....

    my buddy said to let it just air out for a few weeks in the sun ... but anyway to get it out faster ?

    ummm, I'd take the back seat out and scrub-a-dub-dub...then let it dry for a week...I'm sorry to hear that man...hope it doesn't ignite

    i spilt gas in my old 4 runner it sucked real bad. it took like 4 months to get out. no matter how much i frebrezed it. i even took cut out the carpet and replaced it and thats pretty much how i got rid of it. but it has alot in there. good luck with that one

    try goin to car wash. they sometimes have
    a carpet cleaner there. while doin that spray
    some kind of cleaning solution on it. you can pick on
    up at fred myers or something.

    run those electric carpet cleaner over the stain you know the kind that look like a big vacuum....then to get the smell out sprinkle some baking soda on the seat then vacuum it off...after all of this i would use fabreeze

    I live in OKC and we have what we call a "red carpet" and they offer interior shampoos...if you have anything like that...try it...my sister's car smelled so good after the shampoo

    saturate it in coffee... the strong coffee odor will def cover up the gas

    Real man smell like gasoline!!!!

    Not a big deal. Leave your windows open just slightly overnight for few days. Gasoline is highly evaporative but unless you provide enough fresh air fir it to mix with you won't get the smell out.

    Other thing you could try is to take the back seat out and store it somewhere until it smells no more.

    Don't try any chemicals on it nor any fresheners as you may mess up the fabric. Simply let it evaporate.

    Next time take the container out of your car. hehehe
