    Cage is in!!

First a huge thanks to Nick "AWD4life" for welding this in for me. The kit is the 8 pt. made by S&W and is available on safedrives.com. we only got 4 of the points welded in but we will finish the other four in the near future. The remaining points are the two door bars and the v brace that goes from the harness bar to the center "hump." Well anyways here are the pics.

    I know how you feel.
I finally got my cage on my mail box. I did not weld it in, it is fastened with ballistic missile carbon fiber.

Yes that is one badass mailbox and the install took about ten hours. But we were very very careful during the install plus we had to make a few slight adjustments for personal preference. Welding in the 6x6 plates to the thin body metal was the hardest part.

10 hours of work really paid off well then. I'd like to get a cage for my car, I just don't really have the time. Maybe this summer. This is off topic, but are your tail llights tinted? They look pretty cool lol.

they were tinted in my avatar but I traded them back to some stock ones, going more for the clean jdm look, no roof rails, sidemarker etc.

Nice cage... you're ready for some SERIOUS driving now

if its an 8 point cage and you only welded 4 points.. what about the other 4 points.. just sorta sitting inside the chasis?
they call STi's STDs because everyone is getting them.
