i recently got an 02 wrx from someone who lost the transmitter ( key fob / remote for keyless entry). anyways, i bought one off ebay and cant seem to get it to program. i followed the instructions in the owners manual and on this site. but it doesnt seem to work. it honks once after i turn the switch 10 times and when im finished, it does honk 3 times, but when i try to use the remote, nothing happens.

just wondering if any of you have any ideas.
i thought that maybe a turbo timer was previously installed and maybe they didnt reconnect all the wires, but it seems that none of the wires have been tampered with.
any ideas?
