    Oil Temp Gauge

    Hey i have an oil temp gauge by autometer sitting around that i want to instal. what do i need to get it to work. the best place to use it would be the drain plug and tap into it there?

    I just bought this gauge and you need an autometer adaptor and then a subaru adaptor to make it fit...
    autometer's is 2269 I believe (you may want to check) but it's 1/8 NPT to 1/8 BSPT fitting
    the Subaru is just the subaru gallery plug...
    I called my subaru dealer about it and the guy had never heard of it, but I got the part number and they ended up having it in stock
    this is for the Cobalt electric gauge though...mine went right under connection between the turbo and intercooler
