I've just purchased a Defi-Link system (Control Unit II, Boost, EGT, and Oil Temp), and I've noticed they sell an "Indicator", similar to a shift light...does anybody know if you can use this thing as a shift light without having to have a Defi-Link tach? I know companies like Autometer make an outboard shift light, but after dropping $800 on Defi gear, I was kind of hoping to be able to add on to it.

Or you can use it with the Defi-Link Display for shift light function. I believe that the D-L Display has multiple stages of warning settings for the tach feature.
