    gadges

how many gauges do u need really.

i was thinking i would go with:
    Oil Temp
    Oil Pressure
    EGT
    and of course a:
    Turbo Timer
    Boost Gauge/controller
    Performance Comp
    New Tacho With Shift Light

i was thinking put say 3 on the outside of the car on the bonnet (i think that looks sweet as) and the rest in a pod on the pillor. turbo Timer, perfor comp, boost controller on the dash and the tacho on steering wheel

i maynot need to get all this but i guess it doesnt really hurt to and its personal preff, as to me it also adds looks to the car and helps make it unique and mine

    :EDIT:
    took off some guages

Wow, thats a lotta gadges (er, gauges ) but you pretty much answered your own question. you definently dont need all those gauges, but hey if you want em, more power to you. you definently have no use for a vacuum gauge, as your boost guage will already have vacuum readings on it. and if you already have a functioning tach, i think its rather "tacky" (no pun intended....ok yes it was) to get another tach. if the shift light is what you want they make just those.

the one you dont have on there (and is probably the most important) is an EGT gauge - exhaust gas temp. that'll really tell you whats going on inside your engine and when to back off before somthing bad happens. other than that, i'd say boost and either oil temp or oil pressure would be all you would really NEED. but, to each their own.

This has been covered and everyone has their own opinion but here's what I think:

Voltage mtr (only if you have amplifiers)
    Oil Temp (perhaps)
Water Temp (no you already have one)
    Oil Pressure (perhaps)
    Vacuum (included with boost gauge)
Air Pressure (included with boost gauge)
A/F Ratio (good idea if you're tuning otherwise EGT will probably do)
Turbo Timer (not a gauge but ok sure)
    Boost Gadge (good idea)
    Performance Comp (what?)
New Tacho With Shift Light (no)

Don't put them outside on the hood, you don't own a muscle car.
