    indiglo installed...tach won't go past 4k

I got my procarparts.com indiglo guages installed. They're really nice, but when the tach needle gets up to 4000 rpms, it rubs the guage faces, and won't go any further. . Anyone know how to remove the needles so that I can remove the oem guage faces?

eek....i ran into the same problem with my install.....im like very sure you cant get the stock faces off...you can try but i dont think they are removable....take the thing apart again and make sure 1. there is a place for the wire thingy to come out that goes to the controller....then make sure all the plastic pieces are snapped back together.....because if its only rubbing in 1 spot i suspect you just didnt snap it all back together/align the faces properly....if all that dosent work try to get the faces off...if you cant bust out some superglue and just glue the new gauge down in the spot where its rubbing and then just hold it down till it dries....

do not remove them!!! if you have problems when your indiglo goes out you will need them. check to see if there is friction with the face and the tach

Jtrex...I suppose my $35,000 Maxima was rice because it had oem white faced guages with black lettering . I got the gauges because of what it looked like in the day. I could care less about the indiglo. If you would check my previous posts you would find that I was looking for white faced/black lettering gauges that weren't indiglo. Couldn't find any though.
