    Opinions on this shift knob?

    http://www.fastwrx.com/recafishkn.html

I like the look of it, but for some reason its seems cheap at $50. Am I just used to overpriced car parts or is this thing junk?

    Anyone know??

I don't like it but I'm not a carbon fiber fan. It's also a universal shift knob which wouldn't boost my confidence on how well it will stay on. Also it says something about the carbon fiber being flat but the shift knob is round? I'm sure if carbon fiber were molded correctly, they could make it round.

I like a shift knob that's a little bit heavier than carbon fiber.

That was my concern. I was hoping someone had it and knew if it were weighted or not.
I would like to get an ARC Titanium ball shift knob. I know those are heavy, but I don't know if they will fit a WRX handle.

I really don't like any of the knobs available for WRX's but the stock leather wrapped one looks very cheap.

My momo stays on there very well and it has the 3 set screw design. I actually lost the correct ruber insert piece and had to dremmel out a smaller one to fit my Kartboy lever. It made things nice and tight and all I needed was some lube to get it on there. I have a Momo Evo F-16. Its pricey and I didnt have an intention of getting it but its nice. Took some time to get used to and its shaped like a joystick grip. My hand hasnt wanted to slip off of it yet.

LOL - yeah, 3 screws suck. Momo only has about 20 million satisfied customers. They'd be much more popular if they screwed on.
