Ok so I have just installed new speakers in my car with a 4 channel amp. Everything is getting power and the rear speakers work perfectly. However in the front the Left speaker is louder than the right speaker. Now I have checked the balance and its perfect. Even if I set the balance all the way right it messes up and the left is still louder. Do you think maybe I have a short in the left speaker or what do you guys think. If you need any more information please ask cause I would really love to get this fixed. It all worked fine for a while and sounded great but now its crap. If anyone has any suggestions please give them.

Are you using a hi-lo? If you have an aftermarket radio, check the gain settings on the amp, and then make sure you didn accidentally switch the front rca with a rear one. Once that's all done, try connecting the speaker cables backwards on the amp, meaning you switch left with right. That way you can truoble shoot whether it's the amp or the speaker/connection.
Those fools, EVO vs. STi??? That's like comparing ....wait a minute...there's no comparison. The Suby's still working!!! The evo...well... I hope he got the extended warranty.
