What did you do with your stock 6-disc head unit?

My fiancee has an 05 RS Wagon, so I'll probably put my 6-disc head unit into her car. The head units on ebay don't fetch morre than $100 and reusing mine in her car will save us having to buy an aftermarket HU for her. Not to mention I'll get the dash pocket from her car for nothing.

I got an XM Alpine head unit. Love it!

Cool. Aftermarket head units make the even the stock speakers sound so much better.

So what did you do with the 6-disc once you took it out of your WRX?

I sold it on Ebay for 110.00 and the sub woofer for 160.00. I was surprised I got that much. I have the Alpine with 4 JBL's and a Bass Link sub. A very nice combonation for the money. I also Dynamatted my trunk and four doors which helps decrease some road noise and increase bass response.

XM radio is the best!

I put mine in a box in my closet.

I have an Alpine flip out DVD/CD/MP3 and everything else player and theres no way it's staying in the car if anything happens to it.

I never get rid of stock parts.
