Hey guys,
I have an 05 and am thinking of upgrading my stereo. Now since its a double decker I dont really have many options if I want to upgrade (and not have a huge gap) I was thinking of getting the Kenwood DDX7017 dvd player/cd player.
Any concerns on this? Or do you guys like it?
Any help would be appreciated.

I like the double din HU. Thats a nice one. Been thinking about the Eclipse DVD/CD/MP3/NAV one myself, but its pretty expensive, but oh so clean looking. That Kenwood is a nice choice though!

No Ipod on mine. Just the Sirius tuner and Navigation. Maybe in the future if I can justify the cost of an Ipod.
hows the navigation? any pics?
The navigation works flawlessly. I couldn't be happier. Sorry no pics though. Maybe someday when I get a dig. camera or equivalent. The navigation add on is an expensive option to add however if you have no sense of direction like myself, definitely worth it.
can you get the navigation option later or do you have to buy a diffrent model?
i want the screen but it is at the top of my price range.

did you look at the pioneer systems?
I have the older model, ddx7015 and love it. The new unit is realy nice but the 7015 is working perfectly with the xtant amp, music keg(20gig mp3) under seat, 2 10" jl subs, mb quarts Q in 6 1/2" and a drop down monitor for rear seats. Iv been meaning to take some pictures.
fyi, my buddy who installed my system reciently did a audi A3 with alpine HU, afew brand new digital alpine amps, many focal speakers and singlee 10" jl sub in custom fibergalss. It is so perfect, Audi is using it in some ads. It is also the best sounding system he and myself ever listened to.
by the way .. guys you can ad 2 cammeras to the DDX7017 so en theory you could have some infrared cammera on the rear and one on front in case that lite isn't enought. i love my unit
