Boost is on the right (closer to the radio), and EGT is on the left. I figured I needed to pay more attention to boost, and I'll notice a warning sooner if it's on the right.

EGT = Exhaust Gas Temperature. Two things...
    1) I don't think that is his car
    2) It looks like the problem is that someone installed a version of the Autometer cluster bezel pod (or knockoff) that did not fit well (or they didn't install it well) and it's covering the top of the tach and top right of the speedo.

Im using a ghetto AC autotecnic p.o.s., it works somewhat well, but won't even light up. I'd suggest Defis, Omoris, Apexis, Greddys, or Autometer (slightly cheaper). Most of the japanese ones aren't in psi though.
My poor tranny!... someone sell me an aspen white 06 sti.

Here are the components to the factory Lamco gage. http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/s...BoostGauge.jpg You can see the clip for mounting the gage are in the upper right of the picture. Subaru supplies a template for drilling two holes in your steering column trim piece to attach the pod.
