Will this fit into a single din slot?

I'm thinkin about gettin this if it will fit into a single sized din.

Are normal cd headunits this size?

A DIN opening is approximately 7" x 2".

I am pretty sure that and other similar accessories are intended for mounting in the glovebox/console/underseat/trunk but it could most likely be made to fit a DIN but it'd be a job to make it look perfectly flush.
