    Problem: Momo Shift Knob

I just got the Momo shift knob that is a genuine Subaru part. I bought it to replace another Momo shift knob that I wore out. I have a leather Momo shift boot.

My old Momo shift knob attached nicely to the Momo shift boot with a threaded connection. The Subaru Momo knob is designed for the cheapo stock shift boot and has a raised lip for the stock boot to snap on to.

Is there any way to make my threaded Momo shift boot compatible with my Subaru Momo shift knob?

Rubber band worked for me for a while. I just switched it back to the stock boot. If you wanna be really cool, you could get one of the rubber shift boots from autozone!
