    stereos for my WRX...?

My first post here, so hopefully I am posting in the right catagory.

Ok, I'm kind of tired of what came stock, AND so I'm looking for a new
car stereo for my 03 WRX. I only need a CD player, no need for a
cassette. I do have an iPod so if there is something out there that I
can attach it to, that would be great! Since it looks like I would have
room, I would also consider an equalizer/boost of some sort.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Also any good dealers on the web?

alpine makes good headunits. the ones that have cda before the model number have more features. ebay is the cheapest place to find them but you get no warranty. crutchfield is a little more expensive but the wire harness and the dash kit comes with it plus you get a warranty. you will need to buy an adapter for your ipod also.

Just put a 9851 in my car yesterday, its 279.99 at bestbuy. I got mine awhile ago but had it in a different car. Sounds great, i have a 2005 though and i have different speakers... But alpine = the best ive had so far.
