    I've used armor all on it like all of 2 times. If it is that why the hell is it only doing it in the back. Plus, I mainly drive with my hands near the bottom of the wheel... it just doesnt make sense.

    Exactly...dry leather plus baking car under the sun makes for easy cracking of leather goods.

    This might not be the case, but very likely. Unless the cow the leather was taken from was also a leper........

    that'd be tough to do. how many wheels have you seen do that on a car that's less thatn 5 years old?

    i used armor all on my car all the time. it's an old wives tale about it hurting vinyl, rubber and leather. my car's leather and dash looked great the day i sold it, almost 4 years to the day later (and 76Kmiles)
