problems with stereo???

I just bought an 04 wrx used with 12,000 on it. The stereo is stock but it sounds like ass. Now i am takin it to the dealer to look at but what i want to know is this normal? Now the whole car is stock and i am sure the stereo was never touched. Any one have any ideas?? thanks

20. it has sunroof, heated seat, in dash 6 cd changer, but the stereo sucks. Well the origanl price was 23 but we talked the dealer down and they payed of a $9,000 truck i owed. SWEET. So what about the stereo

well the wrx sound system is probably one of the worst so no its not just your car with a crappy system just get some new speakers and if you have the crap stock sub take it out.

no stock sub, just crappy stock stereo. I am still takin it to the dealer just in case. They said they would look at it for free. So why not. You figure with this nice of car that it would have a nicer stereo. But no.

Sorry, but the stock system sucks. Doesn't really matter, I usually like to drive while listening to the motor anyways...
