    Speaker question??

alrigth i have posted on here about this . and i am ready to do it. im goign to put 6 1/2 rounds in the front and if i can im goign to put 6 1/2 round sin the rear. separates that is. okay my question is where did you put the tweers?did you put it in the stock location or did you mount them somewhere else . im talking about the front. the back speakers will be fitted and probably custom done by my shop.

because im either thinking of doing just a "stock" looking setup or going with kick panels i have not decided yet

I would replace the tweeters in the stock location. They are angled just right for sound imaging.

There should be enough clearance. The stock tweeters have angled brackets behind them. I'd say there's about 1 to 1.5" of clearance between the bracket and the door panel. I have a set of 1" Infinity Kappa tweeters there.

There is a huge amount of room behind the tweet grills (at least in my 05.)
