I have that exact one and all you do is take off the plastic steering shroud and drill two holes depending on where you want it mounted. Pretty simple.

Sorry guys I feel like such a newb, but I have 1 autometer boost gauge and I want to mount it in front of me like the pic down below. Do I just need to buy one cup and drill/double tape it down? I have an 05 by the way and a stock boost gauge didn't come
with it.

Yep, just make sure you get the right size.
The cups work great, I used to have them back when I used AutoMeter sport comps. I have Greddy 60mm's now and they're mounted in Greddy gauge bands which are another great option if you want a less 'bulky' look. w/the 52mm's the pods look better though I think. Enjoy!
