    Omori 45mm Gauge View

Im thinking about going with the Omori 45mm gauge mounted on the oem gauge pod located on the steering column...I just wanted to know how visible and easy to read the gauge is and if the instrumentation is still in view without the gauge blocking anythin, thanks guys.

well its going to block something no matter what, most likely the lower readout of your tach. one of these days i'm going to get autometer's cluster bezel which puts one guage per side on the lower edge of the instrument cluster. it's about $75

I have good view w/ mine- egt left, boost right. The nice thing about Omori is they match your oe gauges- needle color and backlighting, they also read in Imperial ie psi and F

Goodluck finding an OEM cup. You cant buy the cup alone, so they are a rare and hot commodity. I just ordered this myself:

No I had to source both of them- took awhile. I ended up buying used oe boost gauges- want to say roughly $80 ish each- I then recouped a little more and sold just the gauges for ~ $25 each.

Thasion (j-spec) has tried to source the Lamco pods for reasonable, but w/ no luck. He was going to try and get some made (similar design) but don't know where he is w/ that endeavor.

when the time is right im gonna go w/ a 45mm omori boost gauge. ive already got the stock gauge/pod so i wont need to hunt one down. i like the look and location of the stock gauge. then i'll get 52mm egt and oil pressure omori gauges in a dual pillar pod or somthing. id like a dash pod, but then i'd need a third gauge

IDA if you like the dash pod then I'd put EGT, Oil Pressure, and Oil Temp in there. Thats what I'm going eventually.

The gauge is in there firm. The Omori gauge which is a smidge larger will be even firmer. You have to lube the Omori gauge to have a fighting chance (I used a light coat of ATF).
