Defi Gauges

Hi, i just got mine Defi BF gauges (boost, oil pre, and EGT) and i was wondering if there was any write up to help me install these gauge? or any suggestions to make this process easy and correctly installed.

i installed boost and oil pressure.. its pretty easy. i used the instructions and the how-to's on scoobymods. just do some research and you'll be fine.

what kind of adapter did you use for the oil pressure sensor?

I put my defi oil temp sensor in a fitting just below the turbo compressor outlet. Its a plug that uses a hex key to remove. When I ordered my gauges, Dan at godspeed sent me the adapter I needed to install it. This spot should work well for oil pressure too. Or you could get the oil filter sandwich adapter.

For boost, just T into the line that goes to the BOV, and for EGT either weld a bung to your exhaust manifold, or drill & tap the manifold. Either way you're going to have to take the manifold off the car.

Are you measuring the oil pressure under the intercooler? If so you can get Subaru p/n 11024AA210 which replaces the hex-plug with a 1/8-BSPT tapped plug. Then check your manual to see what you have (if you have imperial gauges it's probably 1/4-NPT so get a 1/8-BSPT to 1/4-NPT adapter).

That's what I did, it works great and was simple to install. I got mine from Dan @ godspeed.

thread size is 1/8 PT, so i use the subaru adapter right?

From what I can find with a quick search, PT is the same as BSPT so you should be good to go.

It makes sense that Defi and Subaru use the same threads so I think it's a safe bet that it will fit.

I just bought a Defi D-Gauge...I want to mount it on my steering column like the stock one is, where can I buy a mount for that?? Can I buy a stock mount from Subaru?? Any ideas??
