    center visor ?

My 2005 lacks the center visor the 2004 had. They replaced it with a tint on the windshield was does not work well enough when driving into the sun. Does anyone know how to get the button out of the headliner in that location without damaging it to see if I can mount the 2004 visor there?

Don't even bother...that center visor is the most worthless POS. Almost as worthless as the cupholder above the stereo.

Wow there are some things you just never learn about this car. Hell I had mine for well over a year before I noticed the little pull out drawer thing on the left hand side of the steering wheel.

The cup holder or the visor? The cup holder is great until something spills into your stereo.

the cupholder don't hold any bottle found where I live.. Maybe thats why it's called a cupholder and not a bottleholder

I use it, but just to cover up some other electronic device that are mounted behind it.
The center visor sucks compared to the one I had in my audi, but it don't bother me much. Thats what you have sunglasses for

Dude, you just blew my mind.
Is that what it is designed for? Cause we all know it's not worth crap as a visor.

unfortunately, yes. although it functions great it bothers me that subaru chose this option in the WRX instead of something useful and probably the same price i.e. rear set cup holders.

You can put rear seat cupholders in. I believe they were from the forester or legacy. It goes in that panel on the back of the center console... People in the back can hold their drinks tho as far as I'm concerned...
