katskinz leather seats

This summer I am going to work really hard...(and i just recieved the OK from work to get put down for full time this summer=cash...im usually per diem)....to try to restore my wrx to its former glory. I am goin to replace both bumpers, trunk, and probobly go wingless. The rear seat is ripped very badly in one spot from my doosh roomate putting a mtn bike in there and not watching out for the crank. I was thinking of 2 options. Getting some new fabric and sewing a new piece of fabric in there ( it is the center piece in the back of the 02..the non patterend section)..or getting some catskinz leather seats. Has anyone gotten these? I really like the perforated black leather look. How much for the package with installation? I just read this article on howstuffworks.com on this concept car that uses memory foam in the seats. They sell those matress pads that are like 2 inches thick for like 70 bucks at walmart. If the installer could do it i wonder if i could replace some of the padding in the center of the seat and backs to memory foam. I think that would be mad cool and something nobody has...any thoughts or disadvantages to this?

I'm getting leather. My driver side seat is already starting to rip somehow I guess from me getting in and out.

Anyway I'm getting it w/ ATD, they are a vendor here and use the same leather as katzkin(sp) and it's a tad cheaper.

I think the leather is cool.

My seats are still in great condition, but if for some reason they start to look like crap I will most def. replace them with the leather

well he is already stageIV so its not like he "needs" the money to go to performance.

I dunno, there are a lot of things to do with the money, but to have an eye pleasing leather setup in a wrx is pretty cool.. its something you can both see AND feel

Changing my seats to leather added a feeling of luxury to my WRX. I've seen changed my fronts to Recaros, but the rear is still leather and my passengers love it. If you don't plan on changing your seats to racing seats, getting leather will do you well. I had the ATD1 kit on my car btw:

i got the car with them in it so i don't know how much it costed, but i love them. they make the interior of a wrx look amazing.
