Wrong: "omg need help!"
Wrong: "wheels???????"
Wrong: "quick question"
Right: "Adjusting the camber/caster on my car"
Right: "Rattling noise occuring under hard acceleration"
Right: "Pictures of my 2004 WRX with chargespeed body kit"
It makes searching a whole lot easier. When people say "I searched and couldn't find anything," it is probably partly due to people having garbage thread titles. The information is probably out there, but results won't necessarily show up because of the wording of thread titles. "omg need help" isn't very specific. If you have an 18g Turbocharger question, put 18g Turbo in your thread title, that way someone who knows a whole lot about 18g turbos will see the thread and probably check it out and offer their advice/knowledge. If it said "omg need help" chances are they would pass right over it.
We're all guilty of it, I know I've probably done it a number of times, but it would really make a difference if we all tried to be more articulate when we name our threads.
