how to drive manuel

I bought my stick 3000GT, got in it, and drove home.

The WRX is not an easy car to drive stick. I wouldn't suggest starting in it.

Same here! My WRX is my first manual! Then again, I had my license for 6 years first. Just find someone with a lot of patience to teach you, and it's probably best to learn on a beater car (and not your bf's vette because he'll get mad when you grind the gears while downshifting!).

I learned on a souped wrx that I got before turning 16...my first car...very easy indeed...took about 4 or 5 days and then I was very comfortable and used to it...became totally second nature...don't worry it's still perfect...knock on wood lol

but while we're at it, the first car i ever drove was a 1980 volvo DS, 4MT, i was 11yrs old and it was out on the el mirage dry lake bed after a day of oldschool motocross lol

PS. since then i have driven an MX-5, Civic del sol, and most recently an '06 wrx wagn

. i had never stalled untill i took teh wrex wagn for a test drive last month. i found my match. i was hooked.

so i backed up a bit and went for the bugeye wagn.

i'm leaving in half an hour to go make the sale, woot.

first manual i ever drove was the '05 WRX that i got for Christmas. Took about a week altogether to get it down. Haven't really driven any other manuals, besides test driving this BMW 323 for about 2 min total before my mom started screaming (this was before i learned on my WRX)

You need to ask a few questions about manuel before trying to drive 'um. It's not really something you want to jump in to before knowing whats going on.
