'04-'05 specific forums

Since the majority of this club is '03 and earlier.
I think it would be much more convenient for later model owners
to be able to post in a forum dedicated to these model years.
At least for interior and exterior appearance mods and such.

Any feedback?

Hey i totally agree, i have an 04 and its hard to get information for 04 stuff because its mixed in with all the other 02 and 03 mods. great idea.

I own a MY2005. I work overtime, even on such a nice place as this, to extract information on my wagon. I think it's a good idea whose time has come. One more vote FOR!

The model years aren't different enough I think to warrant a separate forum.

The differences are basically cosmetic (exterior, interior) with some minor suspension tweaks. I have an 04 and pretty much all the info you'll read on here pertains to your car be it 02-03 or 04-05.

There's just not enough difference between the model years.

I do think it might be useful to have a sticky post with the differences, though. Like strut tops and whatnot.

Say, those mudflaps on your wagon, where did you get them, how much were they and do you find them useful enough to put up with any percieved esthetic negatives?

So far all the 04/05 owners are saying "Yes" while all the 02/03 owners are saying "No"

As an 04 owner, I'm also going to say "No" because the only differences between our cars are as follows (im probably forgetting a couple smaller things):

Sedan body kits don't fit wagon body kits. (Applies to 02/03 models as well as 04/05 models)

02/03 Bodykits/hoods/headlights don't fit 04/05 models.

02/03 Clusters are different than 04/05 clusters.

02/03 Springs do NOT fit 04/05 models because rear strut design is different in 04/05, its narrower and the tophats don't fit.

Other than that...everything fits on everything:

02/03 trunks fit 04/05 trunks

All performance parts fit ALL model years (except specific wagon SUSPENSION items (springs, shocks, and a few other things)

There really isn't that much of a difference.

We don't need another forum especially because if someone asks a question about their 05 regarding boost control, it could be a completely valid topic that everybody could benefit from reading)
