im leaving the forum if this continues
While I can't say it will cause me to leave the forum for good, it will greatly cut down on how often I browse.
Not only are they annoying and distracting (comparable to pop-up adds), but with such large noticeable letters I won't be able to browse at work. Yea, yea, wasting the company's time, but honestly thats when I spend alot of bored time surfing. I can turn off the avatars, pics, and ads, but not this crap.
It doesnt really bother me.

If I were an advertiser, I wouldn't want my ads annoying the crap out of users.

Hey guys, I"ll make the advertiser links a little smaller so it doesn't mess with the sizing of the thread. I'll do my best to keep the site as user friendly as possible and yes, the ads do pay the bills. Perhaps I can offer an ads free verison of the site for people who want to just pay a small monthly fee, but I keep in mind that I'm not throwing ads on the site in order to FORCE people to pay for it.
