I just can't believe it's going to be "fixed" in this manner.

I'm rather fond of Joystick port 2 as well. I keep telling my wife this, but she doesn't seem to care.

Want me to see if I can convince her of the joys of port 2?

Looking forward to the solution planned personally.

Incidentally, anyone remember Amstrad and Sinclair computers? The Apple II? Those were the days...

I don't remember the names of the games but I had one game that was some WWIIesque bomber / flying game and then one karate game where you had to get to the temple or something. .. good times.

Sad part about those times is that the printers back then were more reliable than they are now.

The printers back then were great but they had that roll paper that was annoying and then you had to tear the edges off, leaving serrated edges on your documents.

Sir Clive Sinclair released the Sinclair ZX80 in 1980, and the elite ZX Spectrum in 1982. People were wearing green denim jeans in 1982, had huge hairstyles with shaved sideburns, and there were two-stroke road bikes on the streets. Data were stored on cassette tapes. A different planet.
