    Default subscription

Could we change the subscription default when posting to "Do not subscribe"? If I'm really interested in following a subject, I'll subscribe, or check back later, but I'm annoyed that when I just make a quick comment and forget to change the subscription I end up with all these emails.

yeah, its not that hard. Its just like changing the order in which you see posts. Default is newest to oldest, but I would think that most everyone has it oldest to newest. Many newbies first post questions that they really would like answered. Its nice for them to get an email to remind them that a new post has arrived. Its not all that much of a hassle to change it.
