hey maf here is a link it helped me understand whats going on little more clearer w/ the idle up and down.i am waiting on the gasket now i have cleaned the module i found out use carb cleaner and q tips.and then use 3m rubbing compound on the flat part alot easier than alchol.http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=781242

well i got the gasket and put everything back together and i reset the ecu with a v-checker code reader ($52.00 and $4.00 for the gasket)no big deal i dont have to go to auto parts store anymore to read codes.but the car still idles up and down and a 1507 so i am goin to clean the module one more time and if that dont work i'll order the the module $295.95
ya,. i just went ahead and ordered it, i didnt want to but i found nothing on relieving the problem
this time i put it in start idle was 4000 then to 1850 to 2200 up and down.so i am to going to order the part. let me know if that fixed your problem.its just nice to know if this is a prob w/ just auto or man trans or all
oh did you order the gasket to.i got 2 just in case this happens again.
